LAS VEGAS - The six members of the 2023 United States Bowling Congress Hall of Fame class were celebrated during their induction ceremony Wednesday at South Point . The annual meeting of the Selection Committee will be held on Monday, June 27 in Toronto to select and announce the 2022 Hockey Hall of Fame inductees. The Hockey Hall of Fame, in a Monday afternoon announcement, welcomed forwards Henrik and Daniel Sedin, and goaltender Roberto Luongo, all former Vancouver Canucks, into its 2022 induction class. That's a good thing, because his memory hasn't always been great, as he admitted while recalling his first NHL training camp with the Ottawa Senators in Arnprior, Ontario, in 1995. He won CCHA coach of the year twice, was the 2008 Spencer Penrose Award winner for top D-I coach, and going back to his NHL coaching days, was the 1981 winner of the Jack Adams Award. He won the Ted Lindsay Award and Art Ross Trophy, and was named a First Team All-Star in 2011. His work at the grassroots level pushing for more diversity led to his induction into Canadas Sports Hall of Fame in 2001 and the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 2014. On Monday, his inspirational, pioneering work was celebrated by his daughter, Bernice, and son, Dale, upon the late center's induction in the Builders category. Herb Carnegie rounds out this year's class and could not be a more deserving choice for this prestigious honor.
