The waiters were excellent! The whole experience with Ramona and the team at Penn Oaks leading up to the wedding was incredible. But Kearney saw something in the group that took over the food service in 2003. We left with nothing but sick feelings about the way we were treated. My groom was directed to get his groomsman in place and again was NOT asked if all family had arrived and if we were ready to start.Luckily, my day-of coordinator (who again I hired privately who was there for me), helped make the day run so smoothly and had tough skin, as Ramona was so incredibly rude to her. This place is only good for old members who dont know the difference between a slice and draw in golf and also some of the worst range balls know to man prolly made my game worse. The courses original 1921 layout, once playing at over 7,000 yards, was truncated by the construction of I-95 in the 1960s, which at 5,800 yards, makes it into a shadow of its former self. The day-of coordinator, Lisa, consistently checked on me, my husband, and our families during the wedding day to make sure we had what we needed. We were offered drinks and provided with hor deurves, something so small that meant so much to us that no other venue we viewed even thought to do. We ran into multiple issues day of that were entirely produced by their incredibly unprofessional staff. After WEEKS of trying to speak with management and countless scheduled calls they never showed for, we finally speak to the GM and feel like hes heard us and is willing to work with us.
