Following dialogue with vendors located at the Bourryeau Community Strip, Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Miguel Flemming noted the Ministry’s commitment to assist with regard to the success of their stalls.
PS Flemming met with over ten vendors on February 7th, at their stalls in Bourryeau, opposite Fraites’ Bakery.
The engagement was an opportunity for the Ministry to document any issues and concerns being faced by the vendors, to which, matters pertaining to the need for bathroom facilities and infrastructural improvements arose.
PS Miguel also shared the Ministry’s plans to enhance the structural outlay of the site, as an effort to improve the quality of the services offered by the vendors.
The Bourryeau Vendors Market was officially launched on Thursday, June 02, 2022 and was created to provide residents in the rural areas with easier access to fresh, locally grown produce.
