Kittitian cricketer Mikyle Louis was invited to attend the meeting of the Federal Cabinet of Ministers on 17th June, 2024.
Louis is the first Kittitian to be selected to form part of the Senior Men’s West Indies team.
During the cabinet meeting, which was also attended by select ambassadors, Louis was commended on his achievement.
Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew and his cabinet also gave the commitment that the government will continue to support his development as a national cricketer.
Louis was also presented with a $10,000.00 grant from the Ministry of Sports, which is led by Samal Duggins. The grant will be used to help Louis prepare for the upcoming West Indies tour of England where he will make his international debut on the regional squad.
