Saddlers Primary School Concludes First Anti-Bullying Week with Community Rally

In a powerful stand against bullying, Saddlers Primary School wrapped up its inaugural Anti-Bullying Week with an energetic rally through the community on 24th October.

Held under the theme, “Reach Out, Speak Out. Bullying Must Be Wiped Out,” the week brought students, staff, and community members together to highlight kindness, empathy, and respect.

The rally capped off a week filled with themed activities that encouraged students to build friendships, practice kindness, and use positive language.

Guidance Counsellor Rakeel Bradshaw explained, “Today we climaxed with having a rally in the community where we chanted the theme. We engaged the community…so we can promote this in our schools.”

Each day of the week featured a special theme. “Make a Friend Monday” encouraged students to reach out and foster new friendships. “Thoughtful Tuesday” highlighted small acts of kindness, while “Words Matter Wednesday” focused on using positive, uplifting language.

As Saddlers Primary School looks to the future, staff and students are committed to creating an environment where all feel valued and safe.
