Craig Tuckett Faces Second Round of Justice Perversion Charges

Attorney Craig Tuckett, a senior member of the People’s Labour Party (PLP), has been charged with three counts of Perverting the Course of Justice. The alleged offences were committed between 10th and 30th June, 2024, at Rosemary Lane, Basseterre.

Law enforcement authorities confirmed that Tuckett, who resides in Bird Rock, St. Kitts, was arrested and charged on 18th February, 2025, at the Basseterre Police Station.

Previous Charges Still Unresolved

This is not the first time Tuckett has faced such allegations. In February 2024, he was arrested and charged with Attempting to Pervert the Course of Justice in an incident that occurred in Basseterre on 12th February, 2024. He was formally charged on 23rd February, 2024, at the Basseterre Police Station. That matter remains before the court and is yet to be resolved.

Political Silence on Legal Troubles

Despite Tuckett’s status as a senior member of the People’s Labour Party, the PLP has remained silent regarding the latest charges against him. The party has yet to issue a statement addressing the allegations or clarifying Tuckett’s position within its ranks.

As the legal proceedings unfold, these developments raise serious questions about the potential political and legal implications for both Tuckett and the PLP.
