The San Fernando Carnival Committee has extended condolences to the family and friends of Selwyn Little, also known as “Shortman” who was run over by a music truck on Carnival Monday along Cipero Street.
The Carnival Committee said Little, 79, was a beloved member of the Mon Repos community and a vibrant presence in its Carnival celebrations, and his kindness, dedication, and spirit will never be forgotten.
It added that his contributions to the cultural fraternity and his unwavering commitment to making the festivities special have left an indelible mark.

On March 3, Little, who is a known masquerader and Carnival lover was on Cipero Street, San Fernando when the tragic incident occurred.
