20 week scan anxiety mumsnet

I am desperately seeking any other mums who have gone through what I have this morning when I went for my 20 week morph scan. To comment on this thread you need to create a Mumsnet account. I had a 16 week scan on the 11th feb and it still literally feels ages away until my 20 week scan it's 16th March .. I'll be 21 weeks so it's actually like a 5 week wait .. it was only 3 weeks Inbetween my 12 and 16 week scans because I ended up being 13 weeks at my 12 week scan! This came as a complet shock to me as my 12 week scan was normal I heart the heartbeat - described as good and strong by the midwife at my 16 week check and I have had no bleeding or cramps. I had a perfect scan at 12 weeks, 14 weeks (after fainting) and a gender scan at just over 16 weeks and baby girl has been absolutely fine every time yet I'm still worried I'll get to the scan and there won't be a heart beat or something ! And yes, they aren't a chance to see your baby waving or find out the sex, it's for medical professionals to find out if everything is as it should be.
