Police investigations into a double homicide in Stapleton Village, in the early hours of March 25, are continuing. The deceased are Jermaine Henry (35) and Denzil Edwards (34), both from Stapleton Village. The two young men were gunned down around 2 a.m.
According to preliminary investigations by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Henry died at the scene of the crime while Edwards succumbed to his injuries at the Joseph N France General Hospital. A third male, who fled the scene during the attack, is receiving treatment at the Hospital, for a broken leg.
Investigations so far have determined that the incident happened as a group of men played cards in a yard. A lone, masked and hooded gunman attacked, striking the two deceased.
The Police are soliciting the cooperation of the public in providing any information that will aid the ongoing investigation.
