St. Kitts and Nevis defeated Aruba by 2 goals to nil, in their CONCACAF Nations League Group B match, at the Warner Park Sporting Complex, last night, March 27.
The win ensured that the Sugar Boyz topped Group B and it also means that St. Kitts and Nevis qualifies for the CONCACAF Gold Cup Preliminaries.
Keithroy Freeman gave the home side the lead just before the half, in the added minute, when he collected a long ball on the counter attack, split the defenders and then lobbed it past the advancing goalkeeper.
Freeman added the insurance goal in the 80th minute, after collecting a pass from the right wing, and maneuvering to place a left footed shot past the diving goalkeeper.
The Sugar Boyz now continue their preparations ahead of the Gold Cup.
