The full slate of artistes for the 25th edition of the St. Kitts Music Festival was announced yesterday, April 13, during a press conference organized by the Ministry of Tourism. The Festival will be held from June 22-24, at the Warner Park Sporting Complex.
Headliners for the milestone edition of the St. Kitts Music Festival, which is considered one of the premier productions in the region, include Burna Boy, Air Supply, Romain Virgo, Dexta Daps, Chronixx, Teejay, Valiant, Gramps Morgan, Kes the Band, Patrice Roberts and Koffee.
Other performers include Anthony B, Nailah Blackman, Ricardo Drue, Govana, Skillibeng, Skinny Fabulous, Preedy and Nailah Blackman.
The St. Kitts Music Festival is also known to be the biggest platform to showcase local artistes, especially as the music scene has experienced significant growth. The local acts include rising international star Byron Messiah, AkaiiUSweet, Stadics, Erica Edwards, Nicha B, Mr. Bagnall, the 313 Family, the Grand Masters, Nu Vybes Band and the Small Axe Band.
“The Music Festival is notorious for its diversified music and experiences, which bring audiences from around the world to St. Kitts for an epic festival weekend. This spectacular lineup will maintain the Festival’s continued growth and sets the tone for a tremendous Summer of Fun in St. Kitts.” Hon. Marsha Henderson, Minister of Tourism, International Transport, Civil Aviation, Urban Development, Employment, and Labour stated.
“The 25th annual Music Festival is sure to make waves throughout the region,” added Ellison “Tommy” Thompson, CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority.
The St. Kitts Music Festival kicks off the “Summer of Fun” for the Federation and features programs across culture, cuisine, music, and adventure. Additional celebrations include:
- 30 June – 2 July – Nevis Mango Festival
- 13-23 July – St. Kitts & Nevis Restaurant Week
- 27 July – 8 August – Nevis Culturama
- 31 August – 30 September – Caribbean Premier League Cricket
