Police are trying to piece together the circumstances that led to one person being injured in a shooting incident yesterday afternoon, August 14.
The injured man has been identified as Gavin Amory, of Shadwell Housing.
According to law enforcement officials, the incident occurred sometime between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., while Amory and a family member were seated outside his home.
“Two masked assailants, on a motorbike, approached Amory and the family member and fired two shots at them. While attempting to escape the attack, Amory sustained a wound to his ankle,” the Police report stated.
The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported Amory to the Joseph N France Hospital, for treatment.
Investigations are ongoing.
