Gas Station Employee Fatally Stabbed on the Job.

Basseterre, St. Kitts (SKNSOURCE) A gas station attendant was brutally stabbed to death on
the job by two armed assailants.
The stabbing incident took place at a gas station in Basseterre sometime between 6:30 PM and
7:00 PM and claimed the life of 24-year old Kevonne Smithen of New Road.
According to the police, the victim was attending to a customer’s vehicle when the two
assailants approached him. Without any warning, they viciously stabbed him multiple times all
over his body before fleeing the scene.
The assailants, who remain at large, left behind a crucial piece of evidence – one of the murder
weapons, a knife, was lodged in the back of the deceased.
The recent murder comes as a devastating blow to the community, just two days after the
shooting death of Deondre “Bush” Browne.
Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information about either incident to come
forward and assist in the investigation.
