Basseterre, St. Kitts (SKNSOURCE): The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) demonstrated their culinary skills and emerged as champions of “A Culinary Experience for a Cause” Men in Aprons cooking competition.
The event took place on Saturday last and featured an array of delectable dishes prepared by various teams, all in support of a charitable cause.
The competition ended with the RSCNPF team amassing 214 points, to secure the first position spot. The winning dish, carefully crafted by their team, featured an appetizer of shrimp and avocado salad, complemented by a delightful main course.
The main course, was presented in a visually stunning manner, with a creative depiction of the national flag and consisted of breadfruit and beer batter chicken.
Carib Brewery displayed exceptional culinary skills and secured a well-deserved second place with 205 points.
ASAP Group, secured the third spot with 203 points.
The panel of esteemed judges was comprised of Okeete Marshall, Junie Liburd, Mark Brantley and Stacey Hobson.
The “A Culinary Experience for a Cause” Men in Aprons Cooking Competition showcased not only the culinary talents of the participating teams but also their commitment to charity. All proceeds from the event will go towards the Cardin Home.
The show was ably hosted by Mr. Bagnall and Jay Black.
The People’s Action Movement, Team Small Business and the Joint Rotary Team were the other participating teams.
