Basseterre, St. Kitts (SKNSOURCE) — St. Kitts and Nevis’ private sector businesses are stepping up to help the production of Carnival this year by sponsoring participants, contestants, and events.
The St. Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee posted information about the sponsorships on their Facebook page.
During a brief ceremony, Kashka Thompson, Manager of Client Relations and Marketing at TDC, handed Carnival Director Clement ‘Monarch’ Ogarro a $15,000 cheque. TDC Group of Companies will also support Miss Desanne Maynard, Ambassador Number 5 in the Miss St. Kitts and Nevis Pageant, in addition to their bronze sponsorship.
According to the Carnival committee, this sponsorship reflects TDC’s ongoing commitment to empowering young talent and promoting our local community.
Azul Printers has also signed on as a sponsor for the celebrations this year. During a formal ceremony, they gave Shannon Hawley, the chairperson of the carnival committee, the donation of $60,000 for Carnival.
Other sponsors of Carnival 2023 include Carib Brewery, The Cable, St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank, and Republic Bank. It’s anticipated that Carnival will reveal more sponsors in the days and weeks to come.
