Basseterre, St. Kitts (SKNSOURCE) — The main hospital in the nation is undergoing a thorough rehabilitation effort led by the Ministry of Health in the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis.
The Ministry of Health made the statement in a press release on Tuesday, October 24. “After discovering non functional water tanks due to years of neglect, we initiated a comprehensive revitalization process,” it said. “This includes new water lines, fittings, and improved electrical connections, along with draining and refurbishing the existing water tanks.”
This program is a part of the government’s initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery at hospitals around the nation, including the Joseph N. France General Hospital.
“Now, our beloved healthcare institution has a reliable and top-quality water supply, taking us one step closer to accreditation,” the statement added.
