Jahmal Kentish Charged for InstaCash Robbery

Basseterre, St. Kitts (SKNSOURCE) — Police have charged Jahmal Kentish of Stonefort Heights, Challenders St. Kitts, for robbery. 

A statement from the police said Mr. Kentish was charged “on two warrants in the first instance for the offence of Robbery committed on October 14, 2023, at InstaCash.”

Mr. Kentish was charged at the Basseterre Police Station on October 20, 2023. 

On October 14, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force received a report of a robbery that took place at InstaCash located at the S.L. Horsford’s Commercial Complex. The criminal act was committed sometime after 11:30a.m. 

Initial investigations revealed that a single male, armed and masked, entered the establishment and held the clerk at gunpoint. The assailant stole a sum of money and other items of value before making their escape.
