Four persons, including two teenagers, appeared before a magistrate in Guyana charged with murder.
The Guyana Police Force (GPF) stated that the teenagers, along with Javon Granstuart, 24, and Rodwell Fraser, 21, appeared before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman in the Diamond Magistrates Court, where the charges related to the murder of Davanan Hosea were read to them.
The quartet were not required to plea to the offence.
The two juveniles were sent to the Holding Centre while Granstuart and Fraser were remanded to prison.
The matter was adjourned to January 15th, 2025.
Hosea, a Chainsaw Operator, was stabbed to death on November 17.
GPF reported Hosea and his brother were at a bar in Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara when they were accosted by four people who attempted to rob them.
Hosea and his relative attempted to escape by running in opposite directions but they were pursued.
GPF said Hosea was later found on the Hillfoot Soesdyke/Linden Highway with stab wounds.
