May they find comfort in God’s eternal promise of peace for those who mourn,” the statement read.
Deputy Leader of the SKNLP, Konris Maynard, expressed his deep sorrow,highlighting Rey’s profound impact on the party and the nation: Today is a very very sad day across SKN! In addition to the tragic road fatalities that have unfolded, we have also lost the Labour General, Cleon ‘Bougna’ Rey. My profound condolences and sympathies to all the families and friends that have lost a dear loved one in these unexpected ways.”
