St. Kitts Celebrates Inaugural Arrival of Majestic Princess: A New Era for Cruise Tourism

On 25th January, 2025, St. Kitts proudly celebrated the inaugural arrival of the Majestic Princess at Port Zante, marking a significant achievement in the island’s cruise tourism landscape. This magnificent ship, operated by Princess Cruises, features 19 decks and accommodates up to 3,560 guests, supported by a dedicated crew of 1,346.

The arrival of the Majestic Princess exemplifies St. Kitts’ rising status as a prime destination for cruise enthusiasts. Guests stepping off the vessel at 8:00am were greeted with the island’s renowned warmth, eager to explore its diverse attractions and rich cultural heritage.

Tivanna Wharton, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, expressed her enthusiasm for the island’s cruise tourism growth, noting, “For January 2025, we are excited about our visitor numbers. Despite recent itinerary changes, St. Kitts has welcomed four additional cruise calls this month. We remain focused on our goal of surpassing 1 million visitors this season.”

This inaugural call not only highlights St. Kitts’ appeal to global cruise lines but also reinforces the island’s commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for its visitors.
