Kittitians and Nevisians now have expanded opportunities to pursue higher education as the Ministry of Education has announced new scholarship offers from the Republic of Indonesia and the Organization of American States (OAS). These scholarships will provide financial support for undergraduate and graduate programmes, easing the financial burden on students while fostering academic advancement.
Scholarship Opportunities in Indonesia
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia has facilitated scholarship offers from Universitas Lancang Kuning for undergraduate and graduate studies. Students interested in pursuing degrees in a variety of fields can apply for fully funded programmes, which cover tuition, accommodation, and a monthly stipend of approximately USD $90.

- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Architecture
- Agrotechnology
- Accounting
- Management
- Law
- Forestry
- Informatics Engineering
Graduate programmes include:
- Pedagogy
- Environmental Science
- Management
- Agricultural Science
- Computer Science
Applicants must submit their high school diploma and transcript (for undergraduate programmes) or their bachelor’s degree and transcript (for graduate programmes), along with a copy of their passport and national ID. Applications must be submitted online via this link.

OAS Scholarships for Undergraduate and Graduate Studies
The Organization of American States (OAS) has also opened its 2025 Call for Scholarship Applications, offering funding for undergraduate, graduate academic studies, and graduate research.
Undergraduate applicants must already be enrolled in a programme and be eligible to graduate within two academic years. Graduate applicants must have either completed one year of study or possess an acceptance letter from the university where they intend to pursue their studies.
