Tapion Hospital opens new walk-in clinic

Tapion Hospital has opened a new Walk-In Clinic which offers the community easier access to healthcare and makes it more convenient for patients to see doctors without appointments and long wait times.

The new Walk-in Clinic is located on the main level of the hospital and is open from 7 am to 7 pm. Patients can have their routine check-ups, receive proactive preventative care, manage their hypertension and diabetes, complete insurance forms, and conduct their driver’s license evaluations.

To improve coordination and efficiency, home visits can now be arranged through this unit. Individuals will also benefit from many other medical services including immediate access to specialists, lab services, X-ray and CT-Scan and the pharmacy—all in one location.

This setup ensures quick answers to medical problems, streamlining care and reducing stress and anxiety. In addition, patients will have the convenience of ample parking. “The opening of this new Walk-In Clinic is a realization of management’s goal to improve healthcare and make it more accessible to all. It is part of the bigger plans we have for the hospital over the next five years,” stated Medical Director, Dr. Tracy Semei Spencer.

In addition to the Walk-In Clinic, the cafeteria has been upgraded to The Cove Restaurant, offering a wider variety of food, including healthier options to patients and visitors in a more comfortable setting. Chairman of the Tapion Hospital Board, Dr. Romel Daniel commented on the transformation: “Our patients’ care and comfort have always been our priority, and while it has taken us a bit of time to get here, the public will start seeing more of the enhancements we have planned.”
