In a dynamic community outreach effort, Inspector Kishorn Charles and Sergeant Cleon Michael of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) engaged with residents at the New Testament Church of God in Jessup’s Village, Nevis, during a men’s convention themed Preparing for Spiritual Warfare. The event, held on 25th April, 2025, provided an opportunity to promote crime prevention tips and strengthen community trust.
Recognising the concerns many citizens have around personal and property safety, Sgt. Michael participated in a spirited panel discussion where he shared practical advice on both home and business security. He emphasised simple yet effective measures residents can adopt to better protect themselves and their properties.
The discussion also covered broader public interest topics, with attendees raising important questions regarding marijuana regulations, citizens’ rights to defend their homes, protocols for reporting police misconduct, and how police officers should respond during incidents. The lively engagement demonstrated a strong community interest in public safety and law enforcement transparency.
This initiative highlights the Police Force’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, education, and empowerment, reinforcing the message that effective policing is a shared responsibility.
