The St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) has elected a new executive to serve the organisation over the next biennium, during its 93rd National Conference held under the powerful theme Powering Progress, Championing Workers.
Notably, Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew who leads the organisation was returned, unopposed, as the party’s National Leader.
Also returning unopposed as Deputy Leaders were, Dr. Geoffrey Hanley and Konris Maynard.
Amidst a charged and forward-looking atmosphere, party delegates gathered to affirm their commitment to advancing worker rights, driving national development, and positioning the SKNLP for success as the next federal election cycle approaches in just over two years.
National Secretary, Meshach Alford, reflecting on the conference’s tone, remarked, “This executive reflects the renewal and resolve of our movement. We are unified in our mission, inspired by the past, and ready to take bold steps into the future.”

With renewed leadership in place, the SKNLP is poised to unveil several key initiatives over the coming term. One of the highlights on the horizon is the launch of a new party headquarters, expected within the next year. The facility will serve as a modern hub for party operations, outreach, and development programmes.
Additionally, this executive will play a critical role in preparing the party’s machinery for the 2027 federal elections, ensuring a strong, community-driven approach to governance that continues to resonate with citizens across the Federation.
