In a statement issued on Monday, the police confirmed that the masked suspect is a person of interest in an ongoing investigation related to recent armed robberies, particularly those affecting Chinese-owned establishments across the island. However, authorities did not disclose the specific location or date of the incident linked to the image released.

“The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual shown in the image below,” the statement read. “The person is masked and is a person of interest in an ongoing robbery investigation.”
The police urged anyone with information about the suspect’s identity to contact the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at 662-1140. They assured that all tips would be treated with the strictest confidence.
“We appreciate your continued support and cooperation in keeping our communities safe,” the statement continued. “Your assistance could be vital in helping us achieve a swift resolution of this matter.”
This latest appeal comes amid heightened concern over a reported rise in armed robberies targeting small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly those operated by members of the Chinese community. The police have increased patrols and are continuing their investigations across several areas.
Citizens are reminded to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement as the police work to protect local businesses and maintain public safety.
