Kejuan Cannonier Charged in Connection with Bird Rock Shooting Incident

Kejuan Cannonier of Nevis Street, St. Kitts, has been formally charged in connection with the Bird Rock shooting incident that occurred on 11th July, 2025. The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force confirmed that Cannonier was charged on 17th July, 2025, at the Cayon Police Station.

Cannonier now faces multiple charges, including Possession of Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life, Possession of Ammunition, and Discharging a Loaded Firearm in a Public Place.

He is the second individual to be arrested and charged in relation to this matter.

The first suspect, Justin Merritt Jr., of Buckleys Housing Development, St. Kitts, was charged on 14th July, 2025 with Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life, and Discharging a Loaded Firearm in a Public Place.

Law enforcement officials have continued to urge members of the public to come forward with any information that may assist in their ongoing investigation.

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has reiterated its commitment to ensuring public safety and bringing those responsible for acts of violence to justice.
