Anguillan National Charged with Cannabis Offences in Nevis

An Anguillan national, Cadeem Daniel, has been formally charged with multiple offences following the discovery of cannabis during a routine vessel search in Nevis, authorities confirmed this week.

On 2nd September, 2025, officers from the St. Kitts and Nevis Customs and Excise Department conducted an inspection of a motor vessel docked at the Charlestown Pier. During the operation, Customs officers searched Daniel’s luggage and uncovered three plastic bags containing “vegetable material” suspected to be cannabis.
