The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) has confirmed that multiple individuals were recently charged in separate incidents involving burglary and cannabis-related offences in St. Kitts and Nevis.
In St. Kitts, George Carty of New Ponds Site was formally charged on 5th September, 2025, at the Basseterre Police Station for a burglary committed between 2nd and midnight on 3rd September. He was taken into custody following investigations and is expected to appear before the court shortly.
Meanwhile, in Nevis, three individuals were charged after police intercepted cannabis at the Charlestown Pier and later discovered additional contraband at a residence in Craddock Road.
During an observation exercise on 5th September, officers noted a strong scent of cannabis coming from Kimo Sancho of Craddock Road, who had just disembarked the motor vessel Lady-B. A search of his bag uncovered a quantity of vegetable material suspected to be cannabis. Sancho was arrested and taken to the Charlestown Police Station.

Later that day, officers executed a search warrant at Sancho’s residence. There, they discovered sixty-five cannabis plants in flower pots at varying stages of maturity. The plants were seized by the Crime Scene Unit. Sancho, along with Kurt Garnette Sr. and Kurt Garnette Jr., who were also at the property, were arrested.
On 6th September at the Cotton Ground Police Station, Sancho was charged with Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Cultivation of Cannabis. Garnette Sr. and Garnette Jr. were both charged with Obstruction and Battery on Police.
The RSCNPF reiterated its commitment to tackling burglary and drug-related offences across the Federation, stressing that such swift enforcement actions reflect its ongoing efforts to protect communities and uphold the law.
