The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has announced the official period for the 2025 Christmas Duty-Free Concessions, offering significant relief to families, travellers, and non-commercial importers during the festive season.

According to Cabinet Secretary Dr. Marcus Natta, the concessions will take effect from December 1st, 2025, to January 31st, 2026, providing residents with greater purchasing power and savings ahead of the Christmas holidays.
Under the Christmas Duty-Free Concessions, the following allowances will apply:
- Gift packages containing food items will be exempt from duties and taxes on the first 400 pounds.
- Non-commercial imports will enjoy a duty-free allowance of EC$675 (US$250) off the CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) value.
Dr. Natta noted that these measures are part of the Cabinet’s continued effort to support citizens and residents by reducing the cost of living and enabling more affordable celebrations.
“These measures are designed to bring added relief to families and individuals during the festive season, supporting a more affordable and enjoyable Christmas for all,” he stated.
The Christmas Duty-Free Concessions reflect the Government’s ongoing commitment to economic stability and public welfare, ensuring that St. Kitts and Nevis residents benefit directly from seasonal policy measures designed to stimulate spending and uplift communities.
Citizens and residents are encouraged to shop responsibly and make use of the concessions during the two-month window.
