Two of St. Kitts’ most well-known beach entertainment establishments, Zanzi Bar and Cathy’s, were completely destroyed after a Frigate Bay Strip fire swept through the popular entertainment area early this morning.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force reported that the blaze began sometime between midnight and 12:30 a.m. Firefighters worked for nearly five hours to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby businesses. Despite their efforts, both establishments were left in ruins.
