Taiwan Scholarships Open to St. Kitts Nevis Students

Citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis now have the opportunity to apply for fully funded tertiary scholarships through the Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) and Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).

The scholarship programmes offer study opportunities at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels at accredited universities in Taiwan. The ICDF scholarship supports undergraduate and postgraduate studies, with application forms available online through the ICDF website. Applications for the ICDF programme close on Friday, 13th February, 2026.

The MOFA Taiwan scholarship also provides funding for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, with a later deadline of Friday, 27th February, 2026.

Both scholarship programmes require applicants to submit a completed application form, a copy of their passport, and academic transcripts. All documents must be submitted through the Ministry of Education at the Stanford Building on Airport Road.

Applicants seeking admission to programmes taught in Chinese are also required to hold a Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) certificate at Level Two or higher.

Officials have advised prospective students to carefully review university requirements and deadlines, noting that applicants may apply to only one institution under each programme.
