Two nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis have been selected for the 2026 Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Fellowship Programme.
The United States Embassy in Bridgetown announced that Tricia Clarke-Jeffers of Global Communications Solutions Limited and Tiffany Paul Browne of Kreative Designs by Aj will represent the Federation in the upcoming cohort.
The YLAI Fellowship, an initiative of the U.S. Department of State, supports emerging entrepreneurs from across the Western Hemisphere. Each year, more than 250 young leaders are chosen to collaborate with U.S. businesses and organisations through professional placements, leadership training and networking opportunities.
In announcing the selection, the U.S. Embassy expressed pride in St. Kitts and Nevis’ participation in the 2026 cohort, noting that the programme empowers young leaders to drive positive change in their communities.
Nationals from other Eastern Caribbean countries accredited to the U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown, including Barbados and Grenada, have also been named to the 2026 group.
Participants are expected to return home after the fellowship to implement projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening enterprise, innovation and community development.
