Developing Story- One person is in custody assisting Police with their investigations into an apparent stabbing incident that left one dead, in the St. Peter’s area. The incident occured earlier this afternoon, April 4.
Police are also investigating a second homicide, which happened earlier this morning.
According to credible sources, the deceased male, who is said to be around twenty years old, was attacked during an apparent drive by. He collapsed after being struck by gunfire. The young man was pronounced dead on the scene.
Both are active investigations and updates will be provided accordingly.
Today’s homicides come just over a week after a double homicide in Stapleton and a third murder in McKnight.
Police had also anounced ramped up patrols and strategies for effective community policing in the wake of those murder.
