Another murder, the third in less than 24 hours, has rocked citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis. Reports indicate that popular community figure and caterer Alden “OJ” Maynard, was shot and killed earlier this morning, June 6, along the Frederick T Williams Highway.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the homicide occurred just before 7 a.m.
Scores of onlookers positioned themselves around the Police perimeter as investigators processed the crime scene.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not yet known but the Police have given the assurance that investigations are ongoing in earnest.
This killing comes within hours of a double murder, on Rectory Road, Basseterre. Vishawn Matthew (20) and Kay Johnson- Bellile (43) were the victims of a drive-by shooting.
The lawmen are also asking for the support of the general public in solving the murder cases.
