The Royal St. Christopher & Nevis Police Force is investigation a masked shooting incident that occurred on Sunday 18th June 2023, at around 11:30 Pm that left Terito Browne of Rawlins Village, Nevis with a gunshot wound to his arm.
Browne reported that he arrived at his home when he was attacked by masked and armed assailants who made the attempt to shoot him. One of the assailants’ weapons appeared to be malfunctioning, resulting in Browne escaping alive. He sustained a gunshot wound to his left arm while running, after the assailants fired several shots in his direction. He is currently receiving medical attention at the Alexandra Hospital.
The Crime Scene Unit processed the scene of the incident and collected items of evidential value. An investigation into the matter is ongoing and the public will be kept informed as it develops.
