The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is offering cash rewards, up to EC$25,000, to anyone with information that leads to the arrest and successful prosecution of anyone who has committed a serious crime.
Serious crimes include homicides, shootings, possession of firearm, armed robberies, burglaries, serious woundings and larceny that has substantial monetary value, according to the Police.
This initiatives comes as Police are trying to elicit new information and move investigations forward.
There have been an upsurge in violent crimes and armed robberies and the Police are exploiting viable options in their efforts to solve these crimes.
