The Royal Bahamas Police Force has confirmed that a 49-year-old female passenger who was onboard a commercial flight from Nassau to Exuma died as a result of natural causes.
Initial reports revealed that shortly after 8 am on Saturday, when the flight arrived in Exuma and passengers disembarked, the female passenger was discovered to be unresponsive.
The local medical doctor on the island was summoned to the scene, examined the passenger and determined she showed no vital signs of life and pronounced her dead.
