The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has announced the revised dates for the highly anticipated AFRI-Caribbean Exchange with Nigeria, now set for 12th to 17th June, 2025. This milestone initiative underscores a growing partnership between the Federation and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, aimed at strengthening ties through cultural, economic and technical collaboration.

The theme, “Two Nations, One Rhythm: Bridging Cultures, Building Futures,” captures the shared commitment to deepening engagement between Africa and the Caribbean. The Exchange, spearheaded by the Ministries of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resources; Sports; and Small Business, Entrepreneurship, Cooperatives and the Creative Economy, follows the signing of two key Memoranda of Understanding earlier this year focused on agricultural development and the creative industries.
The event was postponed due to travel-related delays, but organisers have confirmed that the rescheduled programme will offer even greater public engagement and regional impact.

Minister Duggins’ communications attaché, Azariah Vanterpool, noted in a statement that this exchange marks more than just a diplomatic milestone—it represents a transformational moment for two nations with shared histories and ambitions.
According to organisers, it is a step towards building bridges that foster sustainable development, youth empowerment, and cross-continental business opportunities.
