One suspect is in custody, assisting Police with their investigations of a stabbing death that occurred on April 4. The deceased was officially identified as Shanquille Walters, a thirty year-old resident of Stapleton Village St. Peter’s.
The Police log states that the incident happened around 1:55 p.m., during an altercation between Walters and another man.
Walters was taken to the Joseph N France Hospital by a private vehicle but he succumbed to his injuries on arrival.
The Police have since unveiled Operation Re-assurance, with the intention of making communities safer.
