Budget Consultations Begin on October 31, 2023 in Lodge and Ottley’s

Basseterre, St. Kitts (SKNSOURCE) — The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis is currently putting together the budget for fiscal year 2024 and has invited communities throughout the Federation to provide input. 

Beginning Tuesday, October 31, 2023, Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew and members of his cabinet, as well as top officials from other ministries and departments of the government, will engage with the public to solicit thoughts and suggestions for the upcoming fiscal year. 

Residents of the Lodge and Ottley’s communities are encouraged to attend the first in a series of discussions titled “Budget 2024: Community Consultations,” which will be held at the Lodge/Ottley’s Community Centre from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

On Thursday, November 2, 2023, residents of Old Road will meet at the Old Road Community Centre from 6p.m. to 8p.m. 

The consultations take place under the heading “Marching Forward on the Journey to a Sustainable Island State.”
