Basseterre, St. Kitts (SKNSOURCE) — The First Federal Cooperative Credit Union has agreed to be the title sponsor of the Sugar Mas Panorama Steel Pan Competition, which will take place on December 27, 2023.
The announcement was made on the St. Kitts Nevis National Carnival Committee’s Facebook page on Wednesday (October 25), when top representatives of First Federal made an official pledge to financially support the staging of the panorama competition.
“Representatives of First Federal including CEO Dawn Williams; Credit Manager Marvelyn Emannuel and Business Development Manager Markysa O’loughlin delivered a substantial contribution in support of this exhilarating event. Cartel Forde, chair of the panorama committee, received the donation with gratitude on behalf of the competition,” the carnival committee said.
Seven bands in all: EBJ Harmonics performing “Long Live Soca” by Voice; Young Vibrations Steel Orchestra with the piece “Liamuiga” by Mick Stokes; Poinciana Rhythmz Steel Orchestra performing “Outside Again” by Grand Masters Band ft Dejour; Oualie Rhythmz Steel Orchestra performing “I Command You” by Burning Flames; Sugar City Steel Orchestra performing “Cheers to Life” by Voice; Nevis Community Development Steel Orchestra performing “Iron Man” by Lord Kitchener; and Gifted Youths Steel Orchestra performing “Lorraine” by Explainer.
