St. Kitts And Nevis Claims Victory Over St. Martin In CONCACAF Nations League Duel

St. Kitts and Nevis, popularly dubbed the Sugar Boyz, defeated Saint Martin 3 goals to 1 in their CONCACAF  Nations League Group  B encounter, at the Raymond E Guishard Technical Center, in Anguilla, yesterday (March 23).

Tiquanny Williams gave St. Kitts and Nevis the lead in the 26th minute, when he pounced on a deflection off the upright and coolly punched it into the open goal.

French St. Martin responded within minutes with the equalizer. Pierre-Bertrand Arne rocketed a shot past St. Kitts and Nevis’ goalkeeper captain, Julani Archibald, in the 31st minute.

Romaine Sawyers put St. Kitts and Nevis back in the lead shortly after, in the 35th minute. He collected a rebound from an initial save and guided a shot into the back of the net.

The third goal for St. Kitts and Nevis came in the 89th minute. Harrison Panayiotou ensured that his team colleccted maximum points.

Team St. Kitts and Nevis’ next game is a home encounter, on March 27, against Aruba.
